I completed BA in Architecture at the University of Liverpool. During my final year I explored the design possibility of new landmark and art buildings around the Albert Dock. The projects he designed were highly commended and I graduated with a first class degree.
I went on to read an MPhil in Architecture and Urban Studies at Cambridge University where I pursed an interest in historical social housing in China. I investigated the architectural value, political ingredients and current status of the earliest high rise residential projects in Beijing and provided a holistic retrofit scheme to revive them.
Later I joined NRAP Architects in Cambridge and worked for one year on residential and commercial projects with variety of scales.
I appreciated delicate and artistic architectural design that can influence and resonate with its surrounding, social context and its inhabitants.
