5th Year Student
I completed my undergraduate degree at Leeds School of Architecture working on a live project as part of a student led architecture practice called Project Office where I developed a design proposal for a community brewery and co-housing framework. In 2018 I moved to London to work as a Part I Architectural Assistant for Hutchinson & Partners where I worked on a landmark project for a mixed use development comprising 1,309 new homes, a supermarket and space for cafes, restaurants and community uses, arranged in twelve buildings around a new public park and landscaped podium gardens.
Currently I am in my second year studying MArch Part II at the University of Westminster alongside working for a bespoke joinery and interior design company based in Essex. I am working as part of Design Studio 12 where as a studio we are creating a collaborative anti-proposal village in place of the disputed Heathrow Third Runway. My project focuses on creating a sustainable palm oil farm to address the UK’s consumption habits and comment on prevalent topics in the palm oil industry such as human rights issues and climate change.
